Scope and Contents

5.5 inches x 3.5 inches black and white photographs of houses, streets, churches, and parks in Brookline with handwritten captions. Each photograph is numbered. The album starts with 217 and ends with 612 but some numbers are missing. Typewritten letter at the start of the album from Eleanor S. Blake, the author's daughter. The photographs in the album were taken for postcards, which the author sold at the pharmacy at Coolidge Corner.

Scope and Contents

Four volumes of black and white photographs with handwritten or typewritten captions and dates. Mostly black and white 4 x 6 images of houses, streets, churches, schools and businesses in Brookline. Four letters from the photographer accompany the albums and are included at the end of v. 1 in a back pocket. The photographs made in honor of Mary, Margaret, and Tom Taylor, who were Robert Bayard Severy's cousins.
