Biographical Note

Edward Wild Baker served as Brookline's town clerk for 30 years starting in 1898, following his father's 46 year tenure as clerk. EBaker served as the first treasurer when the Brookline Historical Society was founded in 1901. He married Alice Souther and they had no children who survived infancy.
