Reservoir on Fisher Hill. Aerial image taken from above the intersection of Chestnut Hill Ave and Hyslop Rd, facing south-east. Homes on Hyslop Rd are visible, part of Frederick Law Olmsted's 1884 subidvision. The reservoir was built in 1875 by Edward Philbrick, Boston water system engineer and resident of Fisher Hill. Water pumped from the Charles River served as a backup supply for the town of Brookline. No longer extant.
