Was previously mounted on a mounting board with the following description in the inventory notes, presumably made in error: 'Beech trees planted in Longwood Mall and presented to the City of Brookline by David Sears ca. 1850. Photographs were taken by Mr. Wilson, a staff member at the Arnold Arboretum."
